Under €50: Bleecker & Love
Bleecker & Love makes small bags in Greece, the kind you end up using every day.
- Pouches, €25. Woven geometric patterns, a waterproof lining, a YKK zipper and a wrist strap. Keep one inside a bigger bag for your essentials, or carry it on its own.
- Candy bags, €50. Quilted velvet, a waterproof lining, a zipped inside pocket and a removable wrist handle. Carry it as a wristlet, or take the handle off for a simple evening clutch.
They are light and flat, so they are easy to send, too.

Guanabana bags are designed in Madrid and crocheted by hand in Colombia by Wayuu artisans. We loved them enough to travel to Madrid for them.
- Crossbody M, €130–135. Geometric patterns, a braided shoulder strap and tassels. Easy to wear every day, with a coat or a knit.
- With a short macramé handle, €230. Carry it by hand, or add the removable braided strap and wear it across the body.
- Tote, €344. A bigger, royal blue bag for someone who carries their whole day with them.

Fouta blankets are woven in Greece from 100% cotton, some of them on traditional looms, and finished with fringed edges.

Orra is the Greek label once called Omma. Rania Diakou designs every bag, and they are made in Greece, in her own workshop, from raffia and leather.
